Because underwater silence and peace are intertwined with fun and adventure. While diving, we explore a completely different world different from the world we live in. We see that the cycle of life continues underwater, we feel the power of nature. Most importantly, we realise how precious the breath we take is.
If you are ready to meet the dazzling beauties of underwater like us, let's turn our route towards Kaş to discover the fascinating world of underwater. Kaş, one of the most important diving centres in Turkey, is one of the unique places where you can dive in 12 months of the year with 38 diving spots. At the top of these diving spots are the replica of the Uluburun wreck, which was determined to have sunk in 1300 BC, and the wreck of an Italian aircraft that crashed during World War II. Kaş Underwater Eco Park, which was created by sinking the D-47 cargo plane, which was removed from the inventory of the Air Force Command in 2009 and donated, off the coast of Kaş, is another important diving point.
The first reefs that many people who have dived before think of when they think of Kaş are usually Flying Fish, Canyon and Oasis. At the reef called Flying Fish, where an Italian fighter plane with 3 propellers sank during World War II, you will have the chance to observe the endangered giant groupers as well as flocks of black sea bream. This eye-catching reef is a favourite spot not only for divers but also for underwater photographers due to its clear waters. Flying Fish, which offers a very enjoyable diving point where divers of all levels can dive in any month of the year, should definitely be your first choice for diving.
Canyon diving point is another one of the most famous diving spots in Kaş. At this point, which extends between two islands and passes through a narrow strait, there are two steep walls starting at 20 metres. At the bottom of the canyon, there is a dark and very small cave where crustaceans such as sponges, scuba forms, anemones and crabs are abundant.
Oasis diving point, which is located to the north of the canyon, is a very calm area covered with fine seagrass meadows. When you explore Oasis, which has become a great attraction point that attracts many sea creatures, especially when the water warms up, it is possible to meet grouper and Lagos fish as well as giant oysters and trumpet fish.
Even if you are on holiday, do not forget that diving is a serious sport and you should be very careful to avoid accidents while diving.
