AKRA HOTELS IS IN UNESCO SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL PLEDGE PROJECT!
The "Sustainable Travel Pledge Project" developed by UNESCO is a global initiative that aims to promote sustainable tourism and minimise the negative impacts on tourism, which is one of the sectors that will be most affected by economic and political crises that may occur. Akra Hotels; Akra, Akra V, Akra Sorgun Tui Blue Sensatori, Akra Kemer, Akra Fethiye Tui Blue Sensatori and Akra The Residence Fethiye Tui Blue Sensatori Hotels have also joined this initiative by committing to sustainable practices as part of their operations and services.
With the "Sustainable Travel Pledge Project", Akra Hotels once again demonstrates its sensitivity to nature and local culture and aims to continue and increase its sustainability efforts over time.
In addition to the scope of the current project, Akra Hotels aims to ensure that the local people of Antalya work and purchase local goods through community responsibility, reduce carbon emissions through energy saving, collect rainwater through water conservation, minimise the use of single-use plastic products through reducing the use of plastic, and recycle waste food through waste reduction.
Akra Hotels, which has won the hearts of the people of Antalya not only with its service quality but also with its social responsibility projects, aims to continue its efforts to protect nature and local culture with this project and to raise awareness of its guests on this issue.
Akra Hotels, which will also increase its efforts to protect the environment and ensure the safety of the endangered caretta carettas, is committed to prioritising its activities this year, such as the placement of bird nests in Fethiye for birds and the protection of the Sand Lily in Sorgun.
